The origin

Grown in the high jungle, by the families who farm it.

Peruvian ginger, kion, comes from the ceja de selva of Junín: Chanchamayo, Satipo, Pichanaki, and the VRAEM. Warm days, cool nights, and deep volcanic-forest soils give a rhizome that is prized for its yellow flesh, low fiber, and high aromatic pungency. Most of it is grown on small plots and a large share is certified organic.

Saphi works at the origin, so every lot can be traced to a named district and farm, and quality is set before the rhizome ever leaves the country.

Verified at origin
Proof that travels with the lot.

The same origin verification Saphi runs across the nature economy, applied to ginger. Each lot carries where it grew, who grew it, and how, so an importer clears customs and audits with evidence instead of assurances.

Proof of place
Georeferenced provenance ties each lot to a named district and farm in Junín, from the plant back to the plot.
Deforestation-free
Satellite-to-soil monitoring confirms the plot boundaries and deforestation-free status importers increasingly require.
Organic integrity
Certified-organic lots carry their chain of custody, ready for EU, USDA, or JAS organic checks at destination.
Documented quality
Caliber, moisture, and residue screening recorded per lot, so what ships matches what you approved from the sample.
