Synecoculture
Saphi applies Synecoculture, the high-density, multi-species cultivation methodology developed at Sony Computer Science Laboratories. It works with ecological processes to rebuild soil and biodiversity while producing crops, and is in operational practice with roughly 2,000 farmers near Tarapoto. [3]

Continuous monitoring
A multi-sensor layer captures the ecosystem continuously: bioacoustic monitoring, satellite and aerial remote sensing, LiDAR structure, soil and environmental sensors, and, where appropriate, eDNA and camera arrays. Bioacoustics is central. The biophony of a living forest is a direct, continuous, low-cost proxy for biodiversity, read through established acoustic indices. [4]

Saphi Intelligence
Saphi Intelligence, the multi-agent AI platform at the center of the stack, turns the field layer into a current picture of each territory: species activity, structural change, biomass and carbon flux, and biodiversity baselines and their uplift over time. How a sound becomes a credit.

A biodiversity credit represents a measured, verified gain in the health of an ecosystem, issued per hectare. [5] The difficulty has always been measuring biodiversity continuously and affordably across large, remote terrain. Bioacoustics answers that: a living forest produces a continuous soundscape whose richness and structure correlate with biodiversity. Saphi reads it through established acoustic indices, establishes a baseline, and measures the uplift over time.
