The Asset Class

A new asset class, built to institutional standards.

Saphi territories generate several instruments from the same verified chain. Diversity across instruments lowers dependence on any single market or price, and shared verification gives the whole class a common integrity standard.

The instruments

Several instruments. One verified chain.

Per hectare
Biodiversity credits
Issued per hectare against measured, verified ecological uplift. The market is early and growing: the World Economic Forum and McKinsey project demand reaching roughly US$2B by 2030 and US$69B by 2050, with a transformational scenario as high as US$180B by 2050. [6]
Per tonne CO₂e
Carbon & NbS units
Issued per tonne CO₂e against verified climate and ecosystem outcomes, aligned to Core Carbon Principles. Roughly half of projected carbon-credit demand could be met by Nature-based Solutions. [7]
Per kilogram · origin
Regenerative commodity yield
Cacao and coffee produced under Synecoculture, including Chuncho-origin cacao, reaching premium hospitality and luxury markets through the SAMA brand. Realized, recurring demand for what regenerating land produces.

Real assets, measured in hectares, verified at issuance.

One of the three instruments grows on a tree.

The institutional case

Why it underwrites well.

Real-asset backing
Every unit traces to a hectare and a measured signal.
Diversified cash flows
Credits, carbon, and commodity yield respond to different markets.
Integrity by construction
Verification through Antiari is built in, addressing additionality, permanence, and leakage at the point of issuance. [5]
Aligned incentives
Returns reach the communities who steward the land. That is what makes the outcome durable.

Sensor to record

Integrity resolved where it arises: additionality at baseline and uplift; permanence at continued monitoring; leakage at territory-scale measurement; double counting at the registry.

On the ground

Built on recognized rights, real terrain, and named partners.

A verified territorial footprint in the Peruvian Amazon, developed over roughly nine years of direct partnership with indigenous communities.

10,000 ha
under co-management at Soqtapata.
4.1M ha
under a Government contract across the Avireri Biosphere for Nature-based Solutions projects, within a landscape recognized under the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Programme. [8]
1.5M ha · 123,000 families
across CUSAF agroforestry concessions, the Peruvian instrument that converts informal occupation into a formal, financeable right to use the land.
Avireri Biosphere · 4.1M ha CUSAF · up to 1.5M ha Soqtapata · 10,000 ha
Sony Computer Science Laboratories
Synecoculture methodology, with Masatoshi Funabashi.
CGIAR & Bioversity International · CIAT
Scientific collaboration on biodiversity and agroforestry, with Evert Thomas.
Agrobanco
Affordable credit for participating families.

Saphi also engages with multilateral and climate-focused institutions, including the FII Institute, on the role of verified data infrastructure in financing nature at scale.

Every hectare on the map is a real place.

For allocators
